♡ Sign in to save to WishlistThe PCC160 is a professional boundary layer microphone and an industry standard stage floor microphone. It´s capable of withstanding up to 120dB SPL without distortion. A bass-tilt switch allows the user to tailor the low-end response for particular applications. PCC® (Phase Coherent Cardioid®) technology uses diaphragms so small that any phase cancellations are above the audible range. This results in a wide, smooth frequency response free of phase interference. The PCC160 uses a supercardioid polar pattern that improves gain before feedback and reduces unwanted room noise from the rear.
The PCC160 Microphone from Crown Audio is a rugged phase coherent, surface mountable boundary microphone designed for accurate pickup and signal reproduction on stages, lecterns, news desks, conference tables and more. The microphone features a phase coherent, half-supercardioid pickup that minimizes pickup behind the capsule, resulting in high gain-before-feedback.
The PCC160's surface mounting increases directivity by 3 dB, and its increased sensitivity provides accurate signal reproduction at long range. A frequency response of 50 Hz to 18 kHz provides accurate signal reproduction, with minimal low-frequency noise and rumble. A "Bass Tilt" switch further reduces low-frequency noise. The PCC-160 microphone features a rugged steel body, able to withstand accidental abuse. The PCC160 requires 12-48V phantom power and includes a 15' cable with switchcraft TA3-female and XLR-male connections.
